Terms of Use
Effective September 28, 2026
These terms govern your use of caelaron.com (the “Site”) and the Weatherman web app, including its invitation-only beta (the “App”), together the “Services”, provided by Caelaron (“we”, “us”). By using the Services you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use them.
Who can use the Services
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you create an account, the information you give must be accurate and you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account.
The waiting list and the beta
Joining the waiting list does not guarantee an invitation. Invitations are personal and may not be shared, sold or transferred. The App is a beta: features may change, break or be removed, data may be lost, and we may limit or end access at any time.
Weather, places and routes
The Services estimate future weather, suggest places and plan routes. Forecasts are predictions, not guarantees, and conditions can change quickly.
- Do not rely on the Services for decisions where your safety depends on the weather. Follow official forecasts, watches and warnings, such as those from the National Weather Service, and the instructions of local authorities.
- Place details, opening hours and ratings come from third parties and may be out of date.
- Routes and travel times are estimates. Obey traffic laws and road signs, and do not interact with the App while driving.
Answers are written with the help of a language model and can be wrong. Check anything important before you act on it.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you type into the Services, and of ratings, comments and photos you add. You give us a licence to store and use that content to provide, secure and improve the Services. Do not submit anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- misuse the Services, interfere with them or try to get around rate limits or access controls;
- scrape, copy or resell the Services or the data they show;
- use the Services to break the law or to harm others;
- reverse engineer the Services, except where the law allows it.
Third-party services
The Services show maps, places and other content from third parties such as Mapbox and Foursquare, and let you sign in with Google or Apple. Their own terms apply to that content and those services, and we are not responsible for them.
Our rights
The Services, their design and their software belong to us and our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to our names, logos or trademarks.
Ending your use
You may stop using the Services at any time, leave the waiting list, or ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the Services.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on a forecast, suggestion or route. Our total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to one hundred US dollars.
Indemnity
You agree to cover our losses from claims caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Services.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and disputes will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for significant changes, tell you before they take effect. Using the Services after that means you accept the new terms.
